Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Thule replacement cover. This is going to replace one plastic cover for your Thule Tracker II half foot pack or the Thule Tracker roof-rack fit Kit TK2. So if you have either one of those Thule products this is going to be a direct replacement from Thule and it's going to snap into place over your exposed base to help protect the components from the elements so that you're not gonna have to worry about them rusting and that sort of thing. And listening to some of our customers they say that oftentimes these will come off in a carwash or have a tree snag them or something like that.
So it is pretty easy to lose these. So it is nice having a direct replacement from Thule so you can trust it is gonna fit right in place of that original. You're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues or anything like that. This will provide a nice, smooth, finished look on your vehicle's roof and make sure that all your elements are being protected or all the components are being protected. So if you aren't needing to replace one, whether it's preemptively before you lose one or if you've already lost one, this is going to be exactly what you need to cover up those roof pack or roof rack thick kit.

I appreciate that you carry this product however, these covers for the rack are not a tight fit causing them to be removed or taken off in some way in which they end up missing. Maybe there is a way of keeping them on with a tighter fit that would work. Please inform if so.
Correct product for covering tracker 2 feet. Fits, looks nice but doesn’t click into place like you would hope. Seems like it would fall off easily, I wrapped the bottom with quality black tape and am confident it will stay in place.
a bit difficult to figure out at first, but once it's on the car, it's good!

Exact replacement part, arrived in a few days in perfect condition.

These covers are an exact fit and are holding up well. One tip I might pass along: As the caps are held in place by friction, I found that ing a small piece of foam into each cap to increase pressure on the small tab inside helps keep the caps on during car wash etc. if I have time, I remove them when going through an automated car was to insure they so not get lost. My Best,

The covers are OK, I lost the last set (all 4 at once) by forgetting to remove them in the car wash, so I'll try not to do that again. If this review was for etrailer, they'd get 5+ stars! Carol and Rose were following up on my order before it was delivered. It was a nice personal touch
It looks great but it does not snap down securely. It seems that something is keeping it from fitting tight.
Got these caps as replacement for the ones that came with my Thule Roof Rack. They have stayed put for more than a year. They are better quality than the ones that came with the Thule Rack. (The ones that came with fell off during the first car wash). As far as I can tell they are pretty water proof. No rusting of the attachment rings under them.
Great response from etrailer! They found the part I was looking for, and promptly shipped the order. Very satisfied!
They fit fine, replaced the 2 that were lost. I would buy from Eretailer.

The replacement covers worked fine after I modified them with a pin and clip to ensure the covers would stay in place.
The website stated with expedited shipping, it would be here 8/30/23. Regular shipping, 9/1/23. Funny how that turned into an estimate. So the "expedited", which I paid triple the regular shipping, got here the same day the regular shipping was originally projected. This business will not be seeing any further orders from me.

These are great covers for the TK base. Only issues is they can fall off in the car wash.
Use a 1/4” cotterless pint to make sure they stay on! Easy to install with a 1/4” drill bit. Drill the hole just below the ‘U’ in THULE. See photos below.

I was really surprised to find this only includes a single cover. I thought it would be 4.
I'm concerned that these don't seem to attach with a locking feel to the Thule rack. At high speeds and with road movement, are these going to come off.
Just the replacements I needed, these caps pop off in the car wash.
The part is what I order and there fit my rack on my truck
The Thule roof caps complete the streamlined look of my truck topper when I'm not using the crossbars. Unfortunately, they do not stay on in automatic car washes. If you forget to take them off, they end up in the drains. etrailer has the replacement parts available for less than $2 each compared to almost $5 elsewhere. Even with shipping charges, these were a great deal. As always, etrailer has what you need at a good price, excellent installation videos and fast shipping.

I still have the Thule caps on my truck everyday. I wonder why the sales people where I bought the topper originally told me they dont stay on.

Still works after a year
I had lost the caps for my roof rack mounts. with winter approaching I was concerned that ice would form inside the brackets, freeze and crack them. Fortunately I found these simple but useful items were available. Ordering was simple and within a couple of days they arrived.

Yes, to be honest we have had a lot of reviews talking about the same thing so I reached out to Thule. There is no official fix for it however one suggestion was to use a piece of black electrical tape to keep it in place.
