Your Thule bike rack is designed to give you many years of good use. Here today we're going to show you how you can make it last even longer with some replacement parts designed specifically for your Thule bike rack. Essentially, any part that's not the metal frame is replaceable. So if you find yourself missing a strap or a cradle, or even your anti-rattle bolt, we have a solution for you. So today with our Hitching Post Pro, we've got a unique problem. We're missing our anti-rattle bolt.

Sometimes they strip out over time. Sometimes, honestly, you just lose them. So in this kit, you're going to get a replacement tightening tool, replacement anti-rattle bolt, and not used very often, but in case it rusts out or something, a replacement lower bolt for your assembly.Here's that lower bolt I was talking about. This is where the rack pivots on when you tilt it away. Now, it can be very frustrating if it's not working properly because you're losing that tilting function, but ours is just fine.

In most instances, it's going to be fine. But what we're really concerned with today is our anti-rattle bolt, which is missing. And as you can see, you're not going to be able to safely go anywhere, mostly because of that shake and play and because our bike rack's not secure. It's an exact replacement and you're going to get all the hardware you need just to thread it in. So you'll want to, just like you did before, line up your holes and get it started by hand.You can take your included tool now if you want.

It's just a 3/4-inch socket, if you've got one at home. I honestly find that that's a little bit easier, but this is a lot easier just to leave in your car so that way you've got something with you and you don't have to bring a special tool with you on the road. And go ahead and get that started. With our anti-rattle bolt installed you can see we're back to normal. You can see I'm shaking the whole vehicle just by shaking the bike rack, inaudible 00:01:57 we get a nice, good secure connection in here.

Now this anti-rattle bolt is also going to work with your Thule Parkway. So if you have one of those, it's going to work out great too. So just like that, I'm able to load my bike up again and I saved myself several hundred dollars just by swapping out parts with my Thule replacement part here from etrailer.com.
