Replaces 1 strap protector for your Thule ProRide rooftop bike rack (TH598003 or TH598003-FB) and DoubleTrack Pro XT bike rack (905402).I wish I knew these were so pricey when I first received my Thule bike rack, I wouldn't have lost them! Having said that, they are the perfect protection for my bike wheels and how great was it that eTrailer has them in stock. Couldn't find anywhere who could get them to me anytime soon. I won't lose these!
I purchased these as replacements for the rim protectors that came on my VW-brand bike rack. They fit and function perfectly.
I was a knucklehead and didn't rebuckle my straps after unloading bikes and lost a couple of these. They're impossible to find anywhere else, even directly from Thule - super thankful that eTrailer.com stocks them.
Greg at Etrailer is awesome. Hooked me up with an alternative item that arrived sooner than I expected. A bit pricey though, but the quality seems to make up for that. You know how the saying goes “you get what you paid for”. Will shop here again, definitely
