Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Taylor Made 12 inch long, galvanized mooring buoy rod. Now, this buoy rod will extend through the center of your mooring buoy, so that you can secure your boat in open water. This will provide the connection points for your mooring chain and your pennant line. It is a nice, hot-dipped galvanized steel finish, which is sturdy and corrosion resistant.
Want to zoom in, show you at the bottom here, has this four inch long swivel that'll turn on the bottom of the rod, prevents your mooring chain from twisting. The swivel dimension we mentioned is four inches long, and the width of it is about 2 1/2 inches wide. It does include the washers and the locknut to secure the buoy to the rod. This part is made in the USA. Now, the overall length on this, total length from one end to the other is 19 1/2 inches.
The rod length, which is the part going through the buoy is gonna be right at 12 inches long. The diameter of the rod is a half an inch. Now, this is a 12 inch rod length. They are also available in a 15 inch long rod and that's, we sell separately on our website. It's part number 36933015.
