Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the Taylor Made Base Pad for your boat cover support poles. This is obviously going to be a much larger pad than your traditional crutch tip on your boat poles. And it does have the EPDM rubber pad on the bottom. That's going to help provide additional friction so that it'll hold your polling place.
We're also going to have the swivel capability, so that you can position your pole at just the right angle to provide the best slope for your boat cover. This is going to work with support poles that are seven, eighths inch in diameter. To give you an idea of our size here, we're at right about three and three eights of an inch wide from side to side there. It's right around four and seven eighths inches long. And that rubber pad is right about five sixteenths of an inch thick. Now, when you get this, it is going to come disassembled.
You're going to have your pad and three pieces. If you ever need to remove them, just simply use some needle nose pliers, or something, squeezing that top portion and allow you to remove that cap. This is how it's going to come assembled. You can easily put your ball in the socket there, put the twist down cap on, and then add your champ. Your seven eighths of an inch diameter support poles will fit right over top of this.
Just simply remove the existing cap and insert this one. That's going to complete our look at the Taylor Made Base Pad for your boat support cover poles..
