Today, we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made Tidy-Ups Boat Fender Adjuster Kit with the white rope. Now this fender adjuster will easily snap over your lifeline or your railing. And it's used to keep the fender at the correct height from the side of your boat. It does include the tidy-up adjuster and the six foot long white rope. And this kit is designed to match your white true color fenders to add a nice sleek look to your boat, but it can work with other types of fenders. The kit comes with this tidy-ups adjuster that will simply snap over your lifeline or railing securely.
Basically, you just twist that to release it, and then it will drop over your railing. Push it back over there and then twist it. And it will hook it into place. The strap itself is made of a nice, flexible rubber material that will not damage your railing and has a nice gloss finish to it. And it allows you to easily adjust the desired fender height in an instant. It will hold lines up to five-eighths inches in diameter, five-eighths of an inch in diameter. It does come with this matching six foot long three-eighth inch diameter solid white braid rope.
The rope is a nice polypropylene rope. Will not fade or kink. And it is mildew and rot resistant. But basically, the way that you would install this; again, you just twist that to open it. Drop this over your railing.
Push it back to close it. And then with it close, what you want to do is take your rope. Now, the end here, that's already looped for you. This loop then will connect to your fender without having to use any hard to untie knots. Loop that to your fender.
The other open-end will go up through the adjuster. You just slide up on this brass roller. Put your rope behind the roller and then pull your rope up. And then just bring it over like that. And you can pull it to where you want it. And then when your brass roller falls down, you can see it locks or pins that rope, pinches that rope in place to hold the fender in place. Now I do recommend on this end, you might want to tie a knot at the loose ends, so it cannot slip back through the adjuster. But basically what happens is the weight of the fender pulls down on that rope and it locks it into place. And if you have to adjust it, just lift up on that brass roller, pull it up if you need to or release it to let it down some. And then wherever you leave it, just let that brass roller fall back down and it'll pull the weight of it and will lock it down into place. Very simple installation. And if you need to remove the whole fender, just lift up on it and then pull that all the way through. But that should do it for the review on the Taylor Made Tidy-Ups Boat Fender Adjuster Kit with the white rope..
