What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're checking out this adjustable fender strap. It's gonna be a hook and loop. So, you can easily adjust the height of your fender on your boat. Let's check it out. This hook and loop strap is gonna replace the rope that you already have using your fender.
Now, it's really easy to use. You can see, it attaches to itself. Just peel back the hook and loop. And now I can pull it a little bit higher up if I need to. Or drop it down just a little bit lower.
If that's where I want it. Without having to untie the fender line there at the eyelet or up here at the boat. Something I was skeptical of. Is the hook and loop gonna actually hold up And pulling on the strap here. You can see, it doesn't come undone very easily.
Pulling on it pretty good. Really, really didn't have this force on it. If it was just sitting here at the dock. So, I know that it's gonna hold on there. And I don't have to worry about my fender going anywhere.
The straps gonna be made out of a UV grade polyester. So you don't have to worry about the UV rays getting to it. The sun's not gonna bother it at all. It's made to stay on the side of the boat. Now, these straps come in a quantity of two. We've already got this one set up. Let's see how I set it up on the back. Really easy to install. I'm just gonna run the strap through our eyelet. We'll get there in the center. Boat back. Let's see exactly where we want it. Now, this isn't long enough of a strap for us to go to the top rail on our setup today with a pontoon boat. But, we can go around the center rail. It's nice that it's a flat strap so it's easier to run around there. Then run it through our buckle. If we adjust the height, we're just holding her back, attaching the hook and loop. Something I wanna do is just pull on it. To make sure that hook and loop is gonna stay attached. I don't want it coming off for any reason, but it's on there pretty good. You see, I'm pulling on it. I'm pulling the boat down and towards me. And I don't hear any of the hook and loop coming separated from each other. Overall, I think these hook and loop straps are a good addition to the boat. They definitely make it easier to adjust the height on those fenders. So, if that's something you find yourself doing a lot. You have to undo the rope up here, adjust the height and then redo it. It's gonna be a far simple and easier way to adjust that and get back to boating. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and I hope this helped..
They are ok
