Today we're going to take a look at the Taylor Made Quick Draw boat fender adjuster. Now, this fender adjuster will hold your fender and simplifies the process of adjusting the height of it on the side of your boat. It will instantly adjust the height with a push of this button right here, and it is designed to fit fender lines between a quarter of an inch to a half inch in diameter. It will tightly hold your fender to the bow rails, the grab rails, lifelines, or even the cleats, and they do use stainless steel screws and a stainless steel internal spring on the button to help prevent any rust or corrosion. Now, you can use two of these fender adjusters together to horizontally hang a fender if you prefer. Now, this part number is just for the one. Just to demo this, I'm going to show you an example.
Here's a, I pulled a three-eighths inch diameter line that we're going to use. And what you'll end up doing is the loop end is what you'll tie to your fender, and then you'll take your other opposite end, run it up, and all you have to do is follow the arrows. This arrow shows up. This arrow shows down. So run your line following the arrows up through there.
Pull it all the way up, and then you'll loop this line over your railing that you're going to connect the fender to, and the adjuster should be positioned with this black button facing the water.Once you run that over the line you're going to hook it to, run it back down there, but push your button in. Push that black button in, and that'll allow you to run the line through there. And then just pull down like that, and what happens when you leave that button go, it'll hold your fender in place. What you want to do is once the line's through the adjuster, you want to tie a knot on this end of line to prevent loss of the fender, just in case you push that button and it pulls the line through, so tie a knot on your end just to make sure. But again, just to, your fender's hooked to this end just to adjust the height. Push in on that and either pull it more to raise it or pull it out to let it go down.
Adjust it to whatever height you need. Very quick and easy to adjust the fender on the side of your boat. Then to remove it, just pull it all the way out. Just like that. But that should do it.
