Today we're going to take a look at the replacement bent towing receiver for the Swagman Traveler XCS2 platform-style bike rack. Now this part will replace the bent towing receiver arm that's on the Swagman Traveler XCS2 bike rack. That bike rack part number is S64664. We do sell that bike rack separately on our website.This is the part of that bike rack that'll slide over the 2" x 2" square ball mount. It secures to the ball mount with two set screw bolts right here in the bottom. Now the bolts are not included.Now the Traveler XCS bike rack will attach right up here to the top of the bent receiver.
Basically when you slide this on to your square ball mount, it will hold the bikes about 17 inches from the top of the towing bar. Basically that's just measured from the top here to the very top up here. If we put a ruler on that, there's your 17 inch measurement.It is a nice steel construction, has a nice black powder coat finish on it to resist rust and corrosion. This bent 2” Swagman receiver worked perfect for raising my bike rack allowing easy access to the tow bar and connections for my tow car behind my Motorhome. This bent receiver made our trip from Alaska to Florida a breeze whenever we used our bikes.
Just what I was looking for to raise the height of my Swagman bike rack. I needed to have clearance to connect my vehicle behind my motorhome and this "j" extension is just what the doctor ordered.
