Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at our Replacement Swivel Hinges for the Surco Exterior RV Ladders. Now, you will get quantity two of these Replacement Swivel Hinges. Just like they say, they swivel and they're hinges. Pretty much, you'd stick one in inside the top of the ladder, the opposite in the base of the ladder, and then when you wanna fold it up, you have that option to swivel it down, or just to help match the curve of the back of the RV or camper for a permanent installation as well. Now, this does replace the Swivel Hinges for that Surco Exterior RV Ladder, Item Number SP501L, and that ladder assembly is sold separately.

Replaces the swivel hinges for your Surco exterior RV ladder (SP501L).Hinge seems to be made very well, this was a replacement for my parents 2000 Lance folding ladder hinge that was broken when they purchased the camper. It fit perfectly into the ladder sleeves and was easy to drill and rivet the hinge onto the ladder. I had to cut off about an inch from the ladder because the hinge itself was longer than the original. Worked out perfectly.
Needed to replace the broken 1996 Lance TC rear folding ladder hinge. Not the same hinge but it works. The part is what it says it is and fit the 1" tube. Drilled the holes into the hinges and attached the hinges with rivets. Done. 90 degree angle on the hinge. Works.
Hinges where exactly what I wanted and the service was very prompt. They shipped the parts within a hour after I placed the order. Thank you
Used the hinges as a way to shorten the ladder on our motorhome. Worked as expected! Great fit and built to last.
