Replaces the socket where the hand held remote control plugs in on your Superwinch Terra series winch.
Worked great. Borrowed a friends trailer with a cheap winch on it. Winch would work good to load equipment and vehicles onto the trailer but someone else borrowed the trailer and broke the male plug in housing on the winch. I originally purchased the female remote to match the plug. That remote worked great. Took a little compare and contrast with pictures and sizes to make a match but found it and it worked great. (the cheap winch did not have replacement parts, thus the reason I found this site). I had the trailer sitting in my driveway for about 2 months so I decided to fix the male plug as part of my payment back to my friend for trailer loan. It was easy to find a match to the remote I had ordered before. Ordered it up, arrived pretty fast and worked great. Now I don't cuss someone else for breaking and losing the various parts and my friend thinks I'm a good guy because I take care of stuff and fix stuff I didn't break.
Needed this to match the plug style of my new winch controller.
Wired in very easily and has worked flawlessly ever since! I use it almost every weekend to winch my race car in and out of my trailer.
Product looks and work exactly as expected. It comes with a very long wiring harness which makes finding a mounting location easier.
