Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're gonna take a brief look at this replacement latch kit for the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate. This is going to replace the latches and hardware on your Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate for the Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks, and this kit is going to work with the VG-100 tailgates that are manufactured before 2015. If your VG-100 tailgate was manufactured from 2015 to the present, you are going to need the hardware kit 1070-A, and on your screen, I am including our item number to that hardware kit that you would need. And as you can see, I'm also including two pictures there of the tailgates, what the one before 2015 looks like and the one from 2015 to the present looks like. Tailgates manufactured before 2015 have a 3/4 of an inch square tube welded onto the end plate near the latches as you can see there. So this includes the driver's side latch, the passenger's side latch, and all of the necessary hardware including instructions to walk you through the installation process.

And this is a direct replacement from Stromberg Carlson, so if you have the 5th wheel tailgate manufactured before 2015, you can have the confidence that this kit is going to work for you.
