Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at the Sportrack replacement center mass pin. This is going to replace the center mass pin for your Sportrack Crest bike racks, and on your screen for your easy reference I am including the model numbers of those bike racks that this pin is going to fit. As you know, this does hold the center mass in the upright position and it includes everything that you see here. You're gonna get this one center mass pin and cable. And just to give you the further confidence this is going to work for you, on your screen I am putting a diagram showing you the measurement of this pin.
It's two and seven sixteenths inches long from the top to the bend in the pin. The diameter of this pin is five sixteenths of an inch, and this is the direct replacement from Sportrack. So you can proceed with confidence knowing this is going to fit right in place with that original one, whether it got lost or misplaced or damaged, rather, you're not gonna have to worry about compatibility issues, fitment issues, or anything like that. The cable of the original pin from my wife rack broke and the pin ws lost. I bought this pin not knowing if would fit the rack but worked perfectly. Remove the old cable and install the new pin took me 5 minutes and works as the original.
