Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. And today, we're gonna take a brief look at this SnowBear replacement control box. This is going to replace the control box for your SnowBear single speed electric snowplow winch. And on your screen, I am including the item number, our item number for that single speed electric winch that this is going to work with. So I have that there for your reference.
And this is the direct replacement, so you're not going to have to worry about compatibility issues. This is going to work just like your original control box. And this is going to mount underneath your hood and connect to your truck or SUV battery to supply power to your winch. So as you can see here, we have our cables here that will connect to your battery. And then we have our cables here that are gonna connect to your motor.
And this is a quick connect right here, so this is all going to be included with this. And you'll have the mounting hardware as well. Now, you can plug in your wireless remote or transmitter to this control box or plug in your wired remote. That's gonna conclude our brief look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you.

Replaces the control box for your SnowBear single speed electric snowplow winch (SB263-282).
The control box for the SnowBear Plow is of poor quality. This is no fault of the seller as they have always provided great service. The control box always takes several weeks to get but the solenoids quit after light usage. I had to order my own solenoids from Warn and take apart the control box and replace them with better quality ones. No issues since. The rest of the switching product - ie. Wires, Switch and Connectors are of high quality. SnowBear needs to find a quality supply of solenoids to correct the issue. I definitely recommend e-trailer for parts. This issue is a manufacturer problem.
This plow package hasn't done a weeks work
Since I bought it.I ordered your controlbox, ,I installed the new controll box . Plow goes. Up ,plow goes down, Now we wait for the next snow storm. Next storm, I hooked up the truck push the switch, NOTHING AGAIN.this time it's 18 degrees outside with 15 to 30 mph winds and 8 to 12 " of snow coming.
Ya iam pissed.
