What's up everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna be checking out this draw bar attachment for our shocker hitch. It's gonna be an accessory that slides in there and it's gonna replace the ball that you usually use. You can adjust it up and down and get your farm equipment hooked up to it. Let's check it out! Now it's gonna work with the Shocker Air, XR, XRC and Impact Series, and Bumper Mount Hitches.
Now there's two different ways you can flip this around. We got it in the drop position to where it's gonna be three and a half inches of drop. Now, if we flipped it upside down it'll only be a half an inch. One of the nice things about the Shocker Hitch Systems, is you can swap out those accessories. So you don't have to get a whole new assembly every time you need to tow different trailer.
So for in this instance, we got the clevis pin set up, which is great for farming equipment, for either hooking up to a tractor or a vehicle. It's made to make it easier to unhook it or hook it up way quicker. So I like that I can have this accessory on this assembly and not have to get a whole new assembly out and switch that out. All I have to do is switch out the accessory. Now the accessory is a shot blasted, black powder coated steel.
So that's gonna help it stand up against the elements, and rust and just help it to last longer, cause it is gonna get beat up when you use it on the farm. Now accessory's gonna have a gross towing weight of 16,000 pounds, but also make sure you check out your ball mount set up, the shock and the hitch itself and your hitch, and your truck to make sure you can tow that. One thing about the accessory, it does have an inch diameter hole built into it, but you cannot use a ball mount with this. So don't try and torque a ball mount down on there, that's not what it's supposed to be. Overall, I think it's a great addition to the Shocker Hitch System.
Just in general, being able to customize and kind of grow with the ball mount as you get it. So I might not need it something like this. At one point, then bought some farm equipment. I got this attachment. I don't have to buy a whole new setup. Plus, the Shocker Hitch is built to help with this. So, you know all that movement that this is gonna be this a pretty big, heavy piece of equipment. The start, the stop. It's got that built in airbag. That's gonna help that not transfer through to the truck and damage anything in it, like the hitch, or even truck, or suspension while you're driving. Well, there that does it! Thanks for hanging out, and hope this helps..
