Today we're gonna be taking a look at the SeaSucker Hogg, part number 298-BA1580. The SeaSucker Hogg is a skewer mounted attachment for carrying your front wheel. It attaches to your rear wheel hub, allowing you to bring your front tire along when using a fourth mounted bike rack. The Hogg is made out of an anodized aluminum. It's lightweight and it won't rust or corrode. The included strap ensures that your tire won't spin while you're on the road. The Hogg nut replaces your rear axle nut, allowing you to screw the Hogg in place.
Then you can set your front wheel into the Hogg's cradle and tighten up your skewer. Then you can run your strap. Then we're ready to hit the road. Here on our test course, let's first go into our slalom. This is gonna show side to side action such as going around corners or evasive maneuvering. Then onto our alternating speed bumps.
This is gonna show a twisting action such as going over potholes or uneven pavement. Then finally onto our solid speed bumps. This is gonna show an up and down action such as pulling out of a parking lot or your driveway. And that's gonna complete our look at the SeaSucker Hogg, part number 298-BA1580.
Excellent high-quality product that would work with any rack system. Beautifully designed, machined, and functional!
