Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this SeaSucker Vacuum Cup Mount for your depth finder transducer. Now, this holder here will let you mount the transducer on your depth finder or fish finder to your boat without having to drill holes into your boat, you can just mount it onto this aluminum bar right here. And this does mount to most non-porous horizontal surfaces using these two 4 1/2 inch diameter vacuum cups. And what's nice about them is these do attach or remove in seconds, and I do wanna demonstrate that. The table itself isn't non-porous, so I've gotten a piece of material here that is a non-porous surface, and I just wanna demonstrate how this would attach.
Right now, you can see it has these protective covers on it that are a hard plastic design, that'll help protect the cups themselves. The cups are a nice, heavy-duty, flexible rubber material, and then the bar itself right here that your transducer is gonna mount to is a nice, lightweight aluminum construction. Now, when you do mount the transducer, it will require you to drill holes into this to mount it. But basically, how this would mount to your boat, so you don't have to drill holes, you can see you can just put those cups down onto the non-porous surface, put a little pressure on them. Let me turn it this way, so you can see.
And basically, if you look at those plungers, you'll see an orange ring on them, so if you keep a little pressure on them and then just start pushing the plunger on the cup, you'll notice that ring starts getting smaller and smaller, and after a few pumps, you can see that it disappears. I'll go ahead and do that on the back one also. You can see as you keep pumping it, that ring disappears, once that orange ring's totally gone, you can see that it's fully connected, it's not gonna come loose. Now, over time, if you leave this on for a while, it might leak a little bit and the orange ring starts showing, all you have to do is just push it again till it disappears. And then we mentioned about removing it, it's pretty simple.
Right here, you can see these little raise tabs, you just pull up on that raised tab, you can see it releases it, and it pops right off just like that, then put your covers back on to protect it. Now, this is a nice, white color, it is made in the USA. The carrying capacity again is one transducer, the pull rating on these cups is 240 pounds total, it's 120 pounds per cup. The weight is only about 1 1/2 pounds, and the last thing I wanna do is just give you dimensions on the aluminum bar itself. The overall length on it, it's right at about 15 3/4 inches long, the width on it is right about 1 7/8 inches wide, and the thickness is only about 5/8 of an inch thick.
But that should do it for the review on this SeaSucker Vacuum Cup Mount for your depth finder's transducer..
