Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Saris bike beam LT frame adapter bar. This is going to allow you to carry a children's women's or full suspension bike weighing up to 35 pounds on your bike rack. This will provide the horizontal mounting point for a level transport of your bicycle. And so you won't have to worry about having your bike at a strange angle to get it, to fit onto your bike rack.

This is gonna work for most hanging style hitch mounted or trunk mounted, bike racks. The way this works. You've got these rotating clasps here. So you push in on the button and that will allow it to rotate up. So then you'll hook this end around your seat post This other end will function the same way and that will hook around your handlebar stem post.

So once you have that in place you'll lock it in just by twisting those again. And so the seat post diameter will will work with seat posts that are up to one and three sixteenths of an inch wide. Your handlebar stem will work for handlebar posts up to two inches wide, and this will expand out from 15 and a half inches up to 23 and a half inches. It does have a spring loaded tube there. So it is going to ensure a nice snug fit for most bikes that fit within that range.

This does have a sturdy steel construction with a black powder coat finish. So it is gonna be very durable and rust resistant. It only weighs about three and a half pounds. So it's not gonna add a whole lot onto your bike rack but you do wanna make sure that you're not exceeding your hitches weight capacity your bike racks, weight capacity, and that sort of thing. But this is going to allow you allow you to take along the kids' bikes, women's bikes those sort of things, much easier.
