Hello neighbors, Steve here with the etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Saris MHS DUO Loading Ramp. Now folks, this is gonna be a ramp to load on a bike onto a Saris MHS or DUO tray, and you simply roll your ride up onto position on the rack with very minimal effort. Now it's gonna look something like this whenever you've got it installed on the Saris bike racks, the MHS or the DUO. It's very easy to use. Once the bikes are loaded, you can simply collapse this back down.
I'll zoom in here first and show you the clamps here. There's simple on what I call wing nuts. There's just two of 'em that go through. You loosen 'em up. Once it's loose, you can then push the whole ramp together for storage.
You then tighten these back down and then you're ready for storage. Now it does have a nice little piece of rubber here on the end of the groove tray, that's gonna kind of help it hold in position when it's on the ground, give you a sturdy spot to start with so it doesn't slide on you. And on the top end here, it's got this little guy that pivots. I'm calling this the ramp tongue. I don't know the official name for it, but that's what I'm calling it.
This is the part that would loop over the bike rack and then you could just roll your bike up onto the bike rack whenever it's installed. So again, obviously when you're using this, it's probably gonna be at a downward angle, just like the image I showed you earlier. It's a very nice, heavy duty, black powder coated steel finish. So it's very durable. It's made here in America, made of American made steel even.
So you're getting an American made product, which is always a plus in my opinion. This is gonna be great for your heavy bicycles, such as like e-bikes, that kind of stuff. Maybe fat tire bikes, whatever you're putting on your racks. Now, as far as some dimension folks, when it's closed like this, not including this little ramp tongue that I'm calling it. So from here to here, I'm getting 39" long. And whenever I fully extended it back out, like the way I started it, it was 70-1/2" long. Now the ramp itself is 3-3/4" wide. And again, what I'm calling the ramp tongue here, this guy here from, where it meets the ramp out to the front was about 3-3/4" long. So again, nice little ramp here for your Saris MHS DUO Loading Ramp Bike Racks. I'm Steven, thanks so much for looking. Thanks so much for your time. Have fun out there on the trails and stay safe.
