Bad news first, product came in box that was torn up on all 4 corners, see pictures.This needs to be addressed, Styrofoam on all corners would help, taping the bag of bolts and other accessories to the adapter would also help, luckily no bags fell out. You pay this kind of money for a product you would think they could pack it better. Now the good news, the adapter itself is wonderful, it installed without a hitch, no adjustments were needed on my truck but good instructions on adjusting if needed. etrailer itself is easy to work with, good product for a good price, I have no complaints and will continue to buy from them. Going back to packaging, I don't know if etrailer or Reese needs to better there packaging, but please do something.
Ordered on Wednesday and received the adapter on Friday. Excellent service! Set the adapter into the pucks without any issues and locked it down. That turned out to be the easy part. Found out that my Reese hitch would not fit into the slots provided. I had to enlarge the slots on one side about one eighth inch to get it to fit. Then I found out that the pin holes were not drilled properly. I figured that I would have to enlarge the pin holes on the side that I had enlarged the slots, but the pin holes were not even close. The pin holes on the side that I didn’t enlarge wasn’t even close either. I had to enlarge the pin holes just to get the pins in. I would rate the adapter as three stars only because it fit the puck holes without having to adjust it.
Great product, super easy install. Didn't come with caps for open end of frame. Does raise hitch height but knew that when I ordered it but still fits under bed cover.
Searched for a solution for mounting a PullRite Super-slide and this frame adapter did the trick. Installs quickly and is easily removed allowing full box utilization. It is identical to the factory optional adapter only hundreds less costly. Did require minor adjustment but instructions were clear and easy to do. Used with Industry standard Rail mounted hitches.

So you were able to put a PullRite Super slide hitch on this adapter? I have a PullRite hitch it is not a super slide and it doesnt fit on this adapter.

Fantastic. I have installed and removed the adapter frame several times. Im 70 years old and it was no bother for my wife and I to remove both the PullRite hitch and the adapter frame. I have ordered other products from E-trailer and all have done exactly what they described, They are an excellent resource and provide value as well as advise.
This is a beast to lift. It went into the RAM 3500 puck system easily. It was the easiest part of the hitch installation. I purchased some small pad locks to lock the release arms in place to make it a little bit theft resistance.

The base has functioned flawlessly for the year. I have not removed the hitch nor the base this past year of ownership.
I am impressed with how well it dropped right into place and lock in. And the fifth wheel pinned in perfect.

This was an incredible experience inasmuch as this was my first time ordering from etrailer. I place my vehicle characteristics into your system, set my search parameters and placed my order that your site said was guaranteed to fit. My equipment came early and easily dropped into place as advertised. Great service!
Unfortunately, the packaging was damaged and there we some cosmetic scuffs and scratches, but for the most part when shipping a 90lb piece of equipment, it’s expected.

works great. only thing I don't like is that to take the hitch out of the truck you have to take it apart. the locking bars wont rotate to the unlocking point with the hitch on top.

Great
I would give this 5 stars except for needing to make the "puck bushing" adjustments.There is no way to asjust them without picking the assembly up each time an adjustment is made and the bushings nor shifting while tightening them. E-Trailer was great and fast delivery.
Per the attached photos, the box was destroyed in shipping. I was amazed only 2 Linch pins were missing.
It appears to be made of light weight material, although the 5th wheel slider looks like it will fit, now I need the new Ram to arrive.
I definitely had my doubts when I plugged it in to the factory mounts, installed my 5th wheel hitch and hooked it up to a 16,000 plus lb 5th wheel.
Made many trips since and I'm convinced the Reese product you sold me handles the weight pull just fine.
The base arrived in a timely manner as it was delivered over a holiday weekend. I couldn’t have asked for a faster time if I wanted it. The box was literally ripped apart and I’m assuming somewhere between etrailer and my house the workers just didn’t care. Installation of the base was as easy as it could be. Fit right into my 2018 Ram Pucks without any issues. I was actually surprised how easy it was. I think it was harder to put the end caps in and all they needed was a little tap.
This is why I am giving it a 4 star and not a five star. I have a B&W bitch as you can see in the picture. Once it was in the slots there was absolutely no play at all. Fit like a glove. The problem came with the left hand side holes for the bolts and or pins to go in. The holes were drilled at a slight angle and were offset from each other. The bolt slid in and through the hitch holes but not out the other side. I ended up having to drill the holes out and snapped a bit in doing so, but once that was done the hitch was bolted down and I couldn’t be happier. I’m not sure if Reese had an issue the day mine was made but not a big deal.
etrailer got me the base quick and I’m happy they carried this product because I love my Fifth wheel hitch and would have been upset if I had to Pay $xx.xx instead of what I payed for this. I highly recommend this for anyone who may be converting from a bolted rail system to the Puck system.
This product Worked exactly as design and Josh was extremely helpful in convincing me to spend that amount of money to convert my fifth wheel from afford to Iran the right way with no corners cut. He was extremely professional and right on the money with what I needed and I was confident I had the right thing coming when the shipment came in.

Very happy with it.
Arrived as scheduled, UPS driver delivered Ram Oem Adapter For Above-bed 5th Wheel Hitches (RP30154) right to my 2016, 2500 4x4, RAM truck where I unpackaged & installed in less than an hour. Took me a few hours longer to place, attach and adjust the Reese 16K hitch to the proper height. The 4x4 height required the hitch to be lowered. Fantastic pre sales support aided in the proper selection & order at a reduced cost.
We purchased many products from etrailer and every item is excellent and received quickly. This 5th wheel hitch adapter is simple to install and remove, with some adjustment needed but videos made it easy. The key is only straighten and bend the cotter keys once after the final adjustment. A second person made it easier since it weighs in at 90 lbs. etrailer customer service and employees are always helpful. 5 Stars!
I ordered the adapter on Monday, April 29 and got it on Thursday, May 2 (That was impressive as I live in western ND!). It came out-of-the-box as that had been torn in shipping. Not a scratch on the adapter; it was in excellent condition. I turned the handles to the proper position, dropped the adapter into the puck system of my 2018 Ram 2500, gave one of the the corners a slight tap with a rubber hammer, and it was in. The whole process took less than a few minutes. I set my PullRite hitch into the slots of the adapter and inserted the pins. Everything fit like an expensive glove. Hooked it up to my 36’ fifth wheel Montana camper the next day. I couldn’t be happier with the product or the professionalism of e-Trailer. A great product from a great company.
WOW! very impressed! Some minor adjustments I did on the edge of the bed to remove the up and down movement. Put the hitch pins in and dropped in. I locked in place and it fit perfect. Next we dropped the Reese 16K fifth wheel with slide rails and bolted down. Thanks Kelsey! All the local places tried to tell me I had to have rails put in, but they were wrong, Thanks etrailer.com. I know where to go to get hitched!!!
On first inspection I was happy with the product, however it didn't fit into holes. When I tried to make adjustment couldn't loosen jam nuts as they were secured with plenty of lock tight and torqued fairly tight. It is difficult to remedy with the unit in truck bed.
This is just what I needed without buying a brand-new hitch. The only drawback would be that I cannot pull hitch and adaptor as one unit
Product was a perfect fit for my Ram 2500 with the puck system.
The bad- not all etrailers fault. The box was pretty beat up and the bag with the hardware was ripped open. I think this happened in UPS’s possession. It was missing one nut but I went to the hardware store and paid the .10 for a new one.
I finally took delivery of my truck last Friday night, and got my Reese Picture frame adapter R-30154 installed. Here is a picture of the adapter only, and adapter with my hitch installed. Thanks for your assistance, sorry it took so long.
This still works great. It fits right into my truck and my generic sliding hitch fits perfectly into it like a rail system.
This rail adapter was perfect. Fit our 2020 Ram 3500 DRW out of the box without adjustments. I was able to use my previous rail kit mounted Reese hitch from a 2016 3500 SRW.

Its become one of those products that I dont think about. I was nervous at first since this was my first fifth wheel set-up. No problems or concerns. Would buy it again.
