  • Best Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for a 2017 Ram 2500
All of the 2017 Ram 2500 models have the structure built already under the bed to add a gooseneck hitch. Models with the factory prep package would actually have the hitch and the four 5th wheel hitch holes in the bed. If it were me I would go with the B&W option, # BWGNRK1384, since they are so well made and made right here in the USA. Because Ram had that structure as a part of the vehicle build it makes it a lot easier to add a gooseneck hitch. You can use # 9467 from Draw-Tite,...

  • Which Draw-Tite Gooseneck Hitch Fits 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Short Bed
The correct Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Hitch with Custom Installation Kit for your 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 6-1/2 foot bed (as well as 8 foot bed) is # 9464-38. This includes both the hitch head and the complete hardware and brackets to work with your truck. See installed photo below. The 9461 (now obsolete) and 9460 are Draw-Tite part numbers which correspond to the Gooseneck head only and from my research, no installation kit for either was/is compatible with your 2003 Ram...

THe B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch w/ Custom Installation Kit - 30,000 lbs # BWGNRK1384 is the correct hitch for your 2015 Ram 2500. This is compatible with the factory air ride or the aftermarket air springs like # F2598.

  • Bracket Kit To Install Draw-Tite Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Hitch on 2013 Ford F250
The correct kit needed to install the # 9460 Draw-Tite Hide-a-Goose Gooseneck Hitch on your 2013 Ford F250 short bed is part # 4449. This is the install bracket and hardware minus the hitch. If you don't have one already, you can install a 7-way trailer connector in the bed of your truck using part # 50-97-410. I've linked to installation videos for the hitch and the trailer wiring harness.

Gooseneck Trailer Hitch, # 9460, will not fit, but you can use Reese Fold Down Ball, # 8339-4434, instead for your 2006 Chevy 2500HD long bed. I have included a link to the installation details below. The Fold Down Gooseneck Hitch Installation Template, # 6425, will make installation much easier.

Depending on the type of gooseneck hitch you go with, the installation kit instructions will tell you exactly where the hole will need to be drilled for the ball. For the Hide-A-Goose, # 9460-39, you will mark and drill a 1/4 inch hole 45-1/2 inches from the rear of the bed and centered between the wheel wells for an 8 foot bed. This hole will be a pilot for a 3-1/2 inch hole saw. I have included a link to the installation details for both the hitch and the installation kit for you.

In addition to the 3-1/2 inch diameter hole for the gooseneck ball to pass through, four 9/16 inch holes will need to be drilled for the u-bolts to pass through the truck bed. The u-bolts are spring loaded so that they will sit flat in the bed when they are not being used, but can be easily pulled up in order to attach the safety chains. We have some excellent installation videos online, I will give you a link below to see one of them.

  • Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Fit for 2014 Ram 2500
It will not, but the good news is that we do offer a hitch that will work. The 2014 Ram 2500 already has the rail structure mounted to the frame under the bed to accept a gooseneck hitch, so you'll need to use a gooseneck hitch specifically designed to work with that structure. The Draw-Tite # 9467 is the Hide-A-Goose model that you'd want to use as the # 9460 hitch you'd looked at isn't compatible with the rails under the truck bed. • Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for a 2010 Toyota Tundra with 5-1/2 ft Bed
First let's start with a fifth wheel rail kit confirmed to fit your 2010 Toyota Tundra. For that you will want a custom install kit like the part # RP50084-58 that will minimize drilling and cut install time in half when compared to a universal kit. • Could Gooseneck Hitch from 2002 Ford F-250 Fit 2007 Chevy Silverado 2500HD New Body
There's a large enough difference between a 2002 Ford F-250 and a 2007 New Body Chevy Silverado 2500HD that there wouldn't be a way to install a gooseneck hitch from one truck on to the other. You'd need a new hitch for the Chevy like the great priced Curt # C60712 which is a confirmed fit. This is very easy to use and also to install. I attached an install video for more info on it as well.

There is an underbed goose neck hitch available for your 2002 Ford F-150, but the Reese Hide-A-Goose, # 9460, will not fit because they do not offer an installation kit for your truck. You can use the Curt Quick Goose 2 Gooseneck Hitch with Installation Kit, # C630-637. While this gooseneck hitch will fit your truck, you will need to consult your vehicle owners manual for the towing capacities of your truck and to check whether or not it can used for gooseneck/5th wheel towing.

The only gooseneck ball solution we have that's designed for your 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 with the factory gooseneck hitch is the Curt hitch ball setup part # C60618. This ball fits right into the gooseneck hitch opening on your Ram. The # 9460 would not fit so we do not recommend it for you.

Yes, each model hitch is designed to fit a certain vehicle make, model, year, and trim. Some hitches will work on a certain make of vehicle for various years, others may only work for a certain make and model for a specific year. The hitches are tested on vehicles for fitment and compatibility and are designed specifically for different brand vehicles. Each brand has their own unit that they design, and can vary slightly from the competitors model. If you have the long bed, 1500...

  • Reese Hide-A-Goose Gooseneck Trailer Hitch Ball Will Not Go Down
This has come up before with different gooseneck hitches that have a hiding ball feature. Normally the cause is some kind of debris, whether it be dirt or corrosion, that is not allowing the ball to move freely or the pin to go all the way in or out. The solution is to clean out the ball cavity as best as you can and then lubricate the hitch according to the instructions which I have linked for you. In the instructions Reese states to make sure to use the magnetic cover to keep the assembly...

The Remove-A-Ball Gooseneck, part # 6300-4435, and the Fold Down Gooseneck Series, part # 8339-4435, are very good systems that do not require drilling or bed removal and will fit all models of the Dodge truck. If the vehicle you are installing this on is the 2003 Dodge Ram Pickup that you inserted for your vehicle information then the part # 9464 is the correct option for your application. To use the Hi-Rise you will need to swap out the top part of your gooseneck hitch with part # 9460 which allows you to remove the hitch ball. But there are other types of gooseneck hitches that hide the ball in the bed. Some require a handle that exits from under the bed into the driver side wheel well, like # 9460.
