Was in a pinch! No one locally had the electric brake springs I needed for my 1971 Airstream. The springs arrived quickly and worked like a charm. Thanks.

Easy to find part. It was so easy, I thought it must be the wrong one. But it wasn't the wrong one. Got it in just a few days. I will use you guys whenever I need a trailer part. Pricing was good. My local auto parts place did not have what I needed, so went on line. You were the first that showed up. Shipping cost $x.xx. I'm going to need a couple of other small parts, but have too many other things needing my attention right now. Keep up the good work. Steve

The parts I bought were brake parts, if memory serves. Anyway, whether theywere or not, nothing I have bought from you has given me any problems. Wait,I also bought wheel bearings. All have worked perfectly. I would recommendyou to anyone seeking trailer parts.

I know it is just a brake adjuster spring. But! The great part is etrailer's ability to get me the part, sell it to me at a good price and deliever it on time and with good packaging. That is why I buy from etrailer and not the other guys!

After a year this is the only spring that has held up. Thanks Etrailer

I have a huge old miley horse trailer that has seen better days and all of the leaf springs, bearings, etc needed to be replaced, It wasnt like I could go into a name brand parts store to get them either. So when my husband told me he found everything he needed on, I was relieved. I am very happy with the price and the delivery time. The fact that delivery was free was definitely a bonus because the parts were very heavy. I was a little worried about the condition of the parts when they came, the boxes were pretty beat up (very heavy) but so far I haven't found any problems.

The ease of the ordering process and quick response and delivery were exceptional. Though I have not had time to install the products as of yet, They appear to be of good quality and they were priced competitively. They will be used on a 1977 AVION Vintage travel trailer. Thanks for your quick service and I will be a return customer...I have three more trailers with electric braking systems.

Our town of 27,000 has many parts stores, not one had this spring. An RV place had two brake adjusting kits for sixteen dollars each, but I needed three springs, the adjusters were all fine.

So, since I was ordering a complete brake assembly for one hub, I tagged on three springs for under five bucks each. That was all my update of these wheels required, packed the bearings, renewed the cotter pins, and adjusted the brakes. All working great. Thanks Heather at in St. Louis. What a deal.

Quick simple and exactly what I needed for my trailer brakes.

I have not experienced any type of issues with them working fine

etrailer made it possible to rebuilt & supply the parts to rebuilt my obsolete axle brakes and get back on the road. Professional tech support and parts were in stock and received quickly....

Just what I needed to finish an overdue restoration on my car-hauler, thanks.
Ease of ordering and timely delivery, I would and have recommended your site to my friends.

One year later and all is well! Many thanks again for the timely delivery of the exact parts.

Replaced worn out and missing adjuster springs on 1974 axle. These were exact replacement for weak worn out originals. Now I don't need to worry about replacing lost adjusters due to broken retaining springs.

Needed trailer brake parts and etrailer had the best description of the products and prices. I like the fact that the parts are very well explained with dimensions so that you can order the proper part the first order.

Good shipping, hassle free transaction.

Perfect fit replacement on my 10" Airstream Sovereign trailer brakes.

Springs came yesterday afternoon, have not installed them yet but they are exactly what I needed.
Etrailer is my go to source for trailer related parts.

prompt delivery and excellent service

A little delay, but not bad. Got them installed on our travel trailer and ready to go camping

Two out of four springs were broken on my horse trailer...replaced all of them. Fit well and easily installed.

In the process of installing. The quality looks good and they fit properly. Would recommend to other customers.

I am very well pleased with the way the parts are performing. Once again I want to thank you for your help in getting me the right parts. You all stand out as one of the top companies I have done business with. You go the extra mile to make sure the customer has the right parts and then follow up on it. You all are to be applauded for that. Not many companies like that any more. Once again a big THANK YOU and may God bless you all.

Exactly what we needed and the mail delivery was a good price and very fast. Thank you for good service!

Anne H.

The trailer is stationary, but we were able to relocate it safely, and all seems fine. I cant add any more info, since the trailer is not being actively towed.

Perfect service. Etrailer has become my go to service.

Perfect match, great price, cheap and fast shipping. I will be back.

Perfect fit for my trailer

Exact replacement for damaged part.

An exact replacement! Just what I neede d!

Used this to replace a broken brake adjuster spring. It's been through one season and is holding up great.

The spring was an exact match! Good value! My only negative was the time it took to get to my house. Took a while but, I had time.

Great service. Exactly the right part after many rejects from other places.

  • Is it Easier to Replace or Repair 12 Inch Dexter Electric Trailer Brakes
First, if grease got on the brake shoe pads they are pretty much done. You would not be able to get all of the grease and I would not recommend taking that risk anyway. We do have individual parts available for many brake assemblies. For an adjuster spring use # BP08-070. For actuating arms use # BP02-230 for the left and # BP02-240 for the right. For the adjuster use # BP10-060. Honestly I would replace all 4 assemblies and be done with it. That way you will get all new parts and they...
