Quick delivery. Redline 12-10 AWG Quick Splice Wire Connectors are a much better quality than the ones I had purchased at an auto parts store, better stronger construction. I will use to splice a 10 gauge charge wire with another 10 gauge wire when installing an electric tongue jack. The trailer battery is at the rear of the trailer in a small enclosed box so a 18 foot 10 gauge wire would have had to be run under the trailer to the battery, and the Quick Splice allows me to splice into a much closer portion of the charge wire to get power for the jack.

The product is a simple well made connector. Use dielectric grease when you put them together and your connection will last much longer than without the grease. But the best part is the always spectacular all-around service from etrailer from comprehensive tutorials and reviews to the excellent shipping services. And the prices are good. It's what online retailing should be like in the perfect world. My humble opinion.

The brake assemblies I received seem to be just fine. They were a good fit on my trailer. Haven't completed the job yet to try the brakes out, but they look great. All my other parts were correct and very well packaged. I really appreciate the great customer service. These guys seem to really care.

connectors and breakers to hook up my brake controller arrived in order, installed easily, and lasted 1 year so far...

Every item I ordered worked and fit exactly as I had hoped it would. Prices and shipping was top notch and will definitely buy from e-trailer again.

Ordered several electrical connectors, wire and a wire tester .. all items came in good condition ,looking forward to using the tester as soon as I can I am sure it will do the job.

Products were great for my application and the folks at etrailer helped by make the right decision with the products I purchased....completely satisfied. Great job.

all products worked fine. technical support used on another project was helpful will use etrailer for future needs thanks

Makes splicing wires a breeze.

Everything is working great. Your parts helped me put a nearly new, yet fender-bendered, trailer back together for a very reasonable price. It rolls down the road great!Ill probably be contacting you all again in the near future for a wiring harness for a trailer brake controller on my new-to-me F250 when the weather finally decides to dry out a bit!.

OK splice connectors. Works well but hard to close connector. It would be great to have a tool other than pliers to close connector on wires.

Delivered in timely manner. Haven't installed yet but after watching videos looks very simple and straight forward.

I modified the work plan after I ordered the parts, some of the components were used as expected and the other item were found to be valuable for other projects. The website and Ellen N were incredibly helpful.

Bought in conjunction with other items to rewire trailer.
Worked as advertised.
Speedy delivery.

What can I say - it still have brakes and lights!

I can't really give you a review, because I purchased them, but didn't use them.
They looked well made, but I decided to do the wiring in a different way

Everthing is as good as the first day. Thankyou
Roger F - 08/17/2018

  • How to Tap Into 3rd Brake Light Wire on 2005 GMC Sierra
We do not have OEM type vehicle wiring connectors but you can make a spliced connection to your 2005 Sierra's 3rd brake light wire using a Quick-Splice connector such as # 562. These allow you to tap into that vehicle wire's brake light switch signal which is sometimes required for hardwired brake controller installations.

  • Is Redline as Good as 3M
While I can't address why we carry some products and not others what I can tell you is that the Redline Quick Splice Wire Connector # 562 you referenced is absolutely comparable in quality to the 3M we carry in the higher gauge. If you take a look at the reviews for part # 562 you can see our customers who have used it have had no qualms with it.

  • Finding 12v Constant Power Wire On A 2002 Chevrolet Silverado
The most common way to get power from the rear of your vehicle is to get it from the running lights. Go to your lights in the back and start your truck. Test to make sure you have the running light power wire and splice into it using this connector # 562. That's perfect for your backup camera because you're not pulling power from the front of the vehicle and having to run all that wire back to the camera.

  • Installing Tow Ready 4-Way to 7-Way Trailer Wiring Adapter # 30717 On A 1995 Ford F250
The 4-way connector on the Tow Ready 4-Way to 7-Way Trailer Wiring Adapter, part # 30717, will connect to the 4-way already on your 1995 Ford F-250. You will need to run the blue wire on the adapter up the truck and connect to the brake output wire on your brake controller, usually also blue. You can splice into the blue wire on your brake controller wiring harness using the quick splice 10-12 gauge, part # 562. I am including a video link of how the quick splice is connected. The remaining...

  • Installing Trailer Brake Controller on 2012 Monaco Knight Motorhome
Based on my research, it looks like your 2012 Monaco Knight Motorhome is built on the custom-built Roadmaster Chassis. We do not currently have a plug-in wiring adapter available for your RV, however there should be a built-in harness next to the air brake pedal. You will just need to connect the wires from the brake controller pigtail to this harness. I highly recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller # 90885. This is a great proportional controller that will activate...

  • How To Install a Trailer Wiring Harness to a 2011 Toyota RAV4
You will not want to connect your trailer wiring directly to the wiring harness of your 2011 Toyota RAV4. You will need to isolate the trailer wiring from the vehicles sensitive circuitry, so it does not put a strain on the system and cause your vehicles wiring harness to be overloaded and fail. I would recommend to use the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, part # 118412. This wiring harness will plug into connectors located behind the vehicles tail lights and comes with a powered Modulite...

  • Camper Shell Lighting for 2003 Dodge Ram 2500
The wiring of a camper shell on a 2003 Ram 2500 would basically be the exact same as the 2004 model. To wire the third brake light of your camper shell on your 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 you will need to find the CHMSL circuit. This will be the circuit that will only carry voltage when the brakes are applied and would not blink with either blinker. This circuit is located behind the spare tire, slightly to the left. There will be a white wire with a brown/tan stripe that is capped and outside...

  • Will Race Ramps RR-56-2 Work with C7 Chevy Corvette Stingray
The Ramps part # RR-56-2 should work for your 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray, but you can pretty easily measure to find out. If you check out the attached picture you can see how to use a yardstick to determine if it will fit. The other option is 3 feet on a straight edge (3 feet in a yard) and use that is you do not have a yardstick. We had a customer with a Corvette (didn't specify year) that only had 3 inches of clearance from the ground and these work just fine.

  • Brake Controller and Wiring Recommendation for 2008 Monaco Knight Motor Home
Let's start with the brake controller. My personal recommendation is for the Tekonsha Prodigy P3, # 90195. This is a customer favorite because of how easy it is to setup and how well it works. Now for the wiring. Although your 2008 Monaco Knight motor home is pre-wired with a plug for a brake controller, I do not have a wiring harness with plug that has been confirmed to fit. In this case I recommend using Quick Splice Wire Connector, # 562, to connect the wires from the controller's pigtail...

  • Quick Splice and Circuit Tester for Tapping into Vehicle Reverse Light
None of the trailer wiring harnesses we offer are designed to tap into the circuit you need. Only option would be to use a quick splice like part # 562 to tap into the circuit after probing the wiring for the reverse light with a tester like part # PTW2993.

  • Can Second Switch be Added to Lippert Slide Out on RV
Yes, if you wanted to add a second switch with the part # LC117460 to your slide out setup you can wire this switch to the same wiring as your current switch and it will function just like your current switch as it will complete the circuits in the same way. Since the wiring is 12 gauge you can use the 10-12 gauge quick splice part # 562 to easily tap into the same circuits

  • No Power To Reverse Lights On Trailer
In this senario, I would run a wire from the center pin of the 7-way to the reverse light circuit on your truck. This will enable you to bypass the fuse. Because of this direct connection you should be able to back up without your trailer brakes engaging. It is best to use a quick splice like part # 562 to tap into the circuit after probing the wiring for the reverse light with a tester like part # PTW2993. This bypasses your issue but doesn't actually fix the problem of not getting power...

Moving your Prodigy P2 brake controller, item # 90885, to your 2008 GMC Sierra truck will require that you have a Replacement Brake Control Plug-In Harness, item # 20127, installed on the GMC Sierra. We have a video detailing the installation of this harness for you to review. The P2 and the Voyager are wired the same. • Wiring Reverse Light Circuit to 7 Way Connector on 2016 GMC Terrain
The center pin of a 7-way is typically the reverse light circuit. You'd need to tap into the reverse light circuit of your 2016 GMC Terrain to activate it. For a quick splice for 14-18 gauge wire you'd want # SWC501746-1 or for 10-12 gauge wire # 562. I'd recommend strongly that you run the 12 volt power wire back to the positive post of the battery and not to a 12 volt outlet to prevent shorting out that circuit.

We do offer a custom 4-pole trailer wiring harness for the 2011 Rogue that plugs in at the tail light assemblies, part # 118480 from Tow Ready. This product wires in to your Rogue at a different point than the OEM harness which we do not offer. I have linked an installation video showing the process in a 2011 Rogue. So when you are in reverse, the trailer brakes will not be engaged. You would need a 7-way adapter like Adapter 7 Pole to 5 Pole Flat, part # A75TB. If there is a 7-way connector on the back of your coach you can try tracing the blue brake circuit wire forward from the connector; you may be able to find a point where it can be connected to the wiring from the front of the vehicle.
