Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. And we're going to be taking a quick look at the rear view safety adapter cord. This allows you to connect into a typical monitor with your RVs camera system. So let's take a closer look and make sure that these connections are going to be the ones that you need.So we'll have our five pin connector on the one side.. Has our threaded connection there as well.
See the five pins on the inside. That's what matches up with your RVs cameras and other equipment. This is going to be a five pin male cord. So go into that five and female cord, and then we'll have our RCA cables as well. These are also going to be male cords, so they would go into your female RCA ports.
So you can use this with any monitor that has that RCA input. This is covered by a one-year warranty. The total length of our adapter cord from tip to tip. About 13 inches.If we go to where they actually would go in.. So more of the actual cord portion, just by itself...
It's about nine, maybe 10 inches. Let's say nine and a half. Just to give you an idea of how much of a span that gives you. So not very much room there, really more of just a jumper to go from the wiring coming from your camera, from your RBS system, into that RCA port. I hope this has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right wiring for you.
