Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this PullRite SuperGlide quick connect capture plate for the 13-1/4 inch wide Lippert 1621, 1116, or 1716 pin boxes. Now basically you're gonna use this capture plate to keep your trailer's kingpin from rotating in your PullRite SuperGlide hitch. Just to show you the bottom of it, you can see right there, this will allow you to tow your fifth wheel with the PullRite SuperGlide hitch. Basically, this will attach to the skid plate on your trailer's pin box, keeps the kingpin from rotating in the hitch head, which will then allow movement of the trailer to be transferred to the hitch so that it can automatically glide to provide the clearance you need for 90 degree turns. As we mentioned, this plate here will work with the Lippert 1621, the Lippert 1116, and the Lippert 1716 pin boxes.
Now, the skid plate that this fits on the pin box must measure 13-1/4 inches wide. It does include this adjustable nylon block, which is to prevent marring of your trailer's king pin box and to serve as a tensioning device. This will line up with the bolt and the jam nut here, so when you go to install it, this will fit in there. Now, this part does resist corrosion. It has a nice durable black powder coat finish on it.
