So today we're going to be taking a look at the Polar Hardware Assist Handle. You can see it has a really nice, large grab area. The opening of that area: basically what I'm measuring is from the bottom of this portion here to to the bottom of this portion here. That's going to give us an opening measurement of, it looks to be about twenty-two and a half inches. So a really nice, large opening. Now here at the actual handle: if we measure from the curve to this curve right here, that's going to give us an actual grab area length of about nineteen and a half inches.
The unit's made from an aluminum construction, really nice, strong, durable design. Two mount holes, one on each side. Those are going to be pre-drilled; they are drilled for three/eighth inch diameter screws. Your mounting hardware is not included.If we take a width measurement of that mounting area, just that base, that's going to measure an inch and a half wide. Those mount holes are going to be separated on center apart from one another; that looks to measure about twenty-six and one quarter inches.
Again that's center on center. The overall length from edge to edge: that's going to give a measurement of twenty-seven and fifteen/sixteenths of an inch. The grab area, so the actual handle, that's going to be made from one inch diameter round aluminum tubing. On the underside it's going to have the finger indention, which allows for an easy grip design. So overall it's a really nice, dependable handle, very lightweight, and again just two mount holes so you could easily get this installed.

Nothing but great things to say about this tough long handle. Showed up with a few scratches but I filed down the rough edges smooth. Seemed to be a production issue. Having the longer handle provides excellent range for a variety of conditions you may find yourself in. Doubles nicely as a towel rack. No bend or flex with my 300 pounds swinging on it.

Yes your etrailer safety hand rail is working very well mounted to the rear of my RV. I'm large and 78 years old so your sturdy hand rail helps me feel secure when I stand on the platform (shown in the photo) and raise the 60 foot tall ham radio antennas. Your hand rail allows me to enjoy my RV and ham radio hobbies.

I needed two grab bars to assist a client when climbing their pull down attic ladder. These aluminum bars were the perfect fit. Good design and at a great price. See the picture.
