Ellen: Hey, everybody. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com and we're taking a quick look at the easy grip assist aluminum handle. This is going to give you a nice spot to grab onto whether you're getting into an RV, in and out of a bathroom, or something like that. You can really mount this anywhere since it is made out of aluminum. You don't have to worry about any kind of rust or corrosion with this. It's going to be lightweight and durable and great for all kinds of uses.
It does not come with any mounting hardware. You do have to provide that on your own, but should be pretty easy to find something that'll work with this. If you are using something like stainless steel, it's a good idea to put some kind of barrier between the aluminum and that stainless steel because it can cause some issues. It can tend to corrode aluminum a little bit if you use that, but stainless steel is good because that doesn't rust, so just want to mediate that. You can use it vertically, horizontally, whatever you want, pretty easy to use. It does have some indentions on the underside or on the back to help give your hand a little bit easier spot to grip on to.
Now, it's just kind of a plain finish, so it might take on some scratches. It might not be super clean-looking when you first get this, but it should polish up fairly nice.As far as the measurements, going from the outermost edge of the mounting flanges to the same spot on the other side here, I'll try to get that all the way to the end, it's about 28 inches long. Flip this over and make a little bit easier to actually measure, so about 28 inches long. If we really want to get technical, it's about 27 and seven eighths, so just barely shy of 28. The usable length, we go from where it starts to make that turn or turn the corner there, it's about 20 inches as far as what we can use.
Going to the bend or where it comes out from the mounting position, it's about 23 and a half. We go from the center of each mounting hole to the same spot on the other side, it's about 26 and a quarter. The distance that it comes out from the mounting surface is about three inches. The space between the handle and that mounting surface is about two and an eighth inch. So just give you some measurements there to make sure that this is going to work for you. That's pretty much all there is to it.
I think this is going to be a great addition for all kinds of uses. As I mentioned, really can make it easier to get in and out of an area, give you a nice spot to grab onto so you can have sure footing as you're coming in and out of a door, threshold, or anything like that.I hope this has helped in deciding if this is the right part for you. We do have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, but it's always our goal to give you the information you need to make the right choice the first time. So again, I hope this helped.
