Hey, everyone. I'm Ellen here etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a really quick look at the single wire superseal amp plug. This is going to work with your Peterson lights, and it's just going to be that little auxiliary wire that you need to maybe hook up to your reverse signal on your vehicle or your trailer, and get that additional signal for your light. It's just going to be a little single plug, has a little wire coming out here so we can connect it to our electrical, and the nice thing is that it has a grommet to keep this weatherproof. So you don't have to worry about using dielectric grease if you don't want to.
Of course, you can always throw some on there just for safety's sake, but should be a really easy to use piece of wiring to get hooked up to your additional signals. It's just a short length of wire, clips right into the back of that light. So again, it's going to work with several different lights from Peterson, including the Luminex lights, that Tail Light series, the 880, the 881, 882 or 883 series Tail Lights, and also allows you to synchronize some Peterson lights for additional lights. You can find those here etrailer.com. We'll have a complete list of the series that this works with on the product page here at Etrailer so check that out so you can match it up with your lights if you already have them, or you can find them right here etrailer.com, if you don't already. So, again, here's going to be that grommet, provides that really nice seal. So it eliminates the need for any dielectric grease, which can be messy and greasy and get all over the place whenever you're hooking up and unhooking lights.
Of course, like I said, you can throw a little bit in there. It doesn't hurt anything to have a little bit of dielectric grease to keep out any water, dirt and debris, but this should do a pretty good job of keeping out anything from getting in there anyway. So, if you want to be doubly safe, that's up to you, but not necessary. Now, the length of this wire is going to be roughly 7.5 inches long. So with the plug that makes it about eight inches long overall, about eight inches long there. It is made in the USA.
It's going to be an amp style plug, and that will fit on that plug that you see on the screen there, that one to the right. So it's just going to be that single round plug that goes into the back of the light. That's pretty much all there is to it for this single wire. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is going to be the right piece for you, should make wiring this light up really simple. So, thanks for watching.
