Bearing Packer for Roller and Ball Bearings

Jeff: Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're going to take a look at this bearing packer. Now this bearing packer will quickly and thoroughly pack your bearings with new grease. It'll even force out any old grease in the bearing and pack the new grease all in one easy operation. And this will accommodate most roller and ball bearings.

Does include the pieces here laid out on the table. It includes this threaded aluminum center post with the grease Zerk fitting on top. It includes the top cone here with the neural nut on it. And then the bottom cone right here.The cones are a nice hard plastic construction. And basically when you put this together, what you'll do is take your center post, insert it into the bottom cone, and then just thread it all the way down until it stops.

And you'll see when it stops that hole will be right above the cone. And that hole is where that grease will come out and go into your bearing. What you'll do then with that post on, put your bearing over the post. And then once that's over that, you'll take your top cone, put it over the bearing and start tightening it down on the center post.And then what you'll do is just screw that all the way down until it goes on, it's on top of that bearing and then just tighten it down firmly against the bearing. And then once it snugs down over that bearing, take your grease gun, put it onto this grease Zerk fitting right here, and then pump the grease into the bearing.

It'll come out that hole and go into the bearing. If it's a new bearing, it'll put all new grease into it.If it's an old bearing that already has some grease in it, it'll pump out that old grease and you'll be able to see it. As you're pumping it, you can see that old grease coming out and the new grease going in. And then to remove the bearing. All you have to do is unscrew it.

And once you take off your top cone, remove your bearing and you're all ready to go. Very simple to do. But that should do it for the review on the bearing packer..
