Today we're going to be taking a look at the pop-up drain without overflow for vessel sinks. This is made from a metal construction. It's going to feature a really nice chrome finish. The pop-up drain portion is activated simply by pushing on the top. There you have it in the open position, and then when you're ready to close it, you push it back down to close position. Internally, it's going to have a nice seal to prevent water from draining when it's pushed down like that. A few measurements I want to go over with you real quick.
We're going to just disassemble a little bit. Makes getting the correct measurements a little bit easier. The threaded portion on the unit, this is going to give us a diameter of one and five eighths of an inch, so that's from the outside edge of the threaded portion on this side to the same point on the other side. Let's take the length of the threaded portion. Measuring from the first thread to the last one, that's going to give us a length of about two and five eighths of an inch.
Then we have this downspout area, or the main tube or cylinder of the unit. This is going to give us a diameter of an inch and a quarter, and that's going to give us a length measurement of about four and three quarters of an inch long. It comes with the appropriate seals. One right here. This would go through the sink hole. That's just like a rubber-like washer or sealer.
On the underside, you would install this seal. Secure that in place with the nut, and this is going to be what would actually tighten this portion of the assembly in place. Then you have the downspout or the tube that threads onto that portion. Of course, you'd want to use plumbing material or Teflon tape to make sure that that area doesn't leak. Then you'd be able to connect it to the rest of the drainage system. That's going to do it for today's look at the pop-up drain without overflow designed for vessel sinks..

Worked like a charm. Good quality part.
drain worked as advertised
The upper part of the body is about an 1/8" to large to fit the sink opening so I will need to return the item. I have an RV Motorhome with the sink located in are area part from the commode. The drain extension is 1 1/4" which is okay. The problem is with the opening in the sink where the threaded part is located.
Excellent quality and a fair price. Just what I wanted for a sink drain but the flange is too big and flat instead of tapered so water stands in the bottom of the bowl. I’m using it until I can find one that fits properly.
Product appears to be well built of metal components, including silicone gaskets.
Works great and looks good.
Perfect service as usual.
