Today we're going to be taking a look at the replacement cover for a panel lock slam latch. This unit replaces the cover on your slam latch part number F709-204P011. It can also be added onto a slam latch for extra protection, and it's designed to work with part number F709-204P. This cover is designed to go over that spring mechanism in the pin, and offer protection to the internal components of the latch, keeping it safe from damage and from the elements. Also gives a really nice, clean appearance to the overall look of the slam latch. Now the cover itself is made from passivated stainless steel, it's very strong and durable, does a great job at resisting rust and corrosion.

Few measurements to go over with real quick. Edge to edge we go in this direction. That's gonna give us a measurement of two and a half inches. Edge to edge going this direction, at the base, that's gonna give us a measurement of right on two inches. The mount holes side to side this direction, separated on center by about one and three eights of an inch, center on center going this direction, hole separation is about one and 15/16ths of an inch.
