Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at this Mad-Mount storage system for your Mad-Ramps pivoting ramp system. Now, the Mad-Mount is the most efficient method for storing your Mad-Ramps pivoting ramp system identified by that model number that you see there on your screen. So if you have the MR2000 system, this mounting system is going to be exactly what you need for when those ramps are not in use. Now let me go ahead and give you an overhead look. That's probably gonna be one of the best ways to show you what you're gonna get here.
The lower mounting plate is gonna be for the frame and the upper mounting plate is going to be for the pivot cage assemblies. And I wanna pop a photo up on the screen here just to kinda give you an idea of what the system is going to look like installed and in use in case you kinda we inchesre uncertain about how the system was going to work. And if you notice here, the lower mounting plate has two individual hooks and the upper mounting plate has four individual hooks. Now, it's very important to note that the upper and lower mounting plates are not interchangeable. So this will always be your lower and this will always be your upper mounting plates.
You are going to receive two fasteners for each mounting plate, along with the torques power bit to help you get this installed. You're also going to get a Mad-Ramps sticker or decal to put into place when you have this installed. And let me go ahead and give you some measurements here just so you can be confident that this is going to work for your particular application and just so you have a good idea of the size of the brackets. So each bracket is gonna be 36 inches long and then 2-1/2 inches tall or wide. And then they're equipped with pre-drilled holes, as I hope you can see here.
And each mounting plate, the holes are going to help each mounting plate to accommodate wall framing on 16 inch and 24 inch centers. Now, these brackets must be secured into the wood framed wall studs with the provided fasteners. The use of drywall anchors or other fasteners are not acceptable and they could be a potential safety hazard, just so you're aware of that. And these brackets are designed only for wood framed walls and they should not be used on metal framed walls. So again, just so you're aware of those, those bits of information, this is gonna be a great system for you.
These are steel plates here. And again, it includes everything that you see here.
