Odelia K was wonderful. She went above and beyond the norm to help find the proper switch for my power jack. I will definitely use Odelia and etrailer again

The part was an exact match for the Lippert Jack on my RV. Installation took about 10 minutes and was straight forward. It was so easy no verbal counseling was required.

Comments
The switch was still working normally when the jack assembly was replaced due to damage incurred at a local dealer while being serviced. Never experienced any problems with the replacement switch.

After my tongue trailer switch went out and having to manually extend/retract an 8Klb trailer more than a few times, I was whooped! Luckily I was able to find the exact same switch with etrailer. What a life saver! Took about 20mins to completely install. Only downfall is the switch doesn't come with a rubber seal to protect moisture from seeping between the tongue housing and where the switch seats; so I'd advise while carefully removing your old switch, save the rubber seal and reuse.

Exceptional service. Contacted e-trailer about a bad power-post switch for my Winnebago Micro Minnie and talked to Miriah A. She researched and verified the switch needed, arranged the order and subsequently followed-up with a shipment dispatched notice. Excellent service by very competent staff.

Shipped quickly and arrived as promised. The hardest part of the replacement of the old non-functioning switch was getting it out of the housing. I found that removing the 6 screws that hold the top cover on made it easier. As someone else noted, take a picture of the wires on the spade terminals before removing the old switch. The replacement switch is OEM so a perfect fit. Snap it into place, attached the wires, and no more hand cranking!

Prompt delivery, perfect fit, thank you!

This part is the exact replacement switch. A little help from the LCI web site video on switch replacement and it was a 15 minute job. Something not mentioned in the how to video is there is a very lightweight rubber gasket behind the lip of the switch. Fortunately, ours came out in one piece and we re-used it. Now if I can just find a replacement lens...

Switch to raise and lower my power gear had broken because of so much dirt in it. I live in a dry area. Dealer had aftermarket switch but it didn’t fit the hole tightly. etrailer had the factory replacement and shipped it to me right away. Bookmarked then for future replacement parts.

The switch was an exact replacement for the Lippert tongue jack on our Shasta Flyte. The only unexpected event was having to remove the rubber shroud from the old switch and install on the new. Worked perfectly the first time.

Thank you for the speedy delivery. My Lippert tongue jack is up and running again. The switch swap only took about 10 minutes.

  • Lippert Electric Trailer Jack Will Not Retract
If the Lippert Electric Trailer Jack with Footplate part # LC285318 will not retract then the first thing you will want to do is make sure there is power reaching the jack and it is properly grounded. If you use a circuit tester at the power wire just before it enters the jack that should give you a good idea of whether or not you have a dead battery or there is a short on the power wire. The ground is not so easy to test so I just recommend removing it, sanding down the mounting surface,...

  • Lippert Power Tongue Trailer Jack Switch Replacement Recommendation
For a Lippert Power Tongue Jack the correct replacement switch is the Replacement Extend / Retract Switch Assembly for Lippert Components Power Tongue Jack # LC226023. It's not super uncommon for these to go out over time so most likely this will get your jack working again. Since this is a brand new jack you shouldn't be experiencing problems. I spoke with my contact at Lippert who said he hasn't heard of this being a very common issue and your best bet is a bad ground or a new switch. I assume that you have an auxiliary battery on your trailer to power the jack since you said the battery is new. If you don't have a battery on the trailer, then make sure that the jack is hooked to a tow vehicle that has a 12v power source at the back of the 7 way trailer connector.
