Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at these Leer replacement prop rod assemblies for your Leer trifold tonneau cover. These are going to be a direct replacement from Leer for the prop rod assemblies that originally came with your Leer trifold tonneau cover, and so you can trust they are gonna fit right in place of those originals and do a great job for you. Just to give you a little extra reassurance, from the center of one ball socket to the center of the other, we're right at 25 inches long, and these ball sockets are going to snap right onto those ball studs so that you have a nice firm connection. So very nice replacement here from Leer for your trifold tonneau covers to make sure that they're able to be propped up again. That completes our look for today.

they seem of good quality, but they are about three inches too long. I cant use them due to the panel hitting my cab before I can attach.
I have the three panel hard tonneau cover. I saw the picture on the website of the cover. It seemed the same. it's a Leer, so not sure what's going on.

These are 1" longer than originals. Puts the cover when up past 90 degrees near cab. They will work but would have been nice to get correct parts.

Not sure, tag was worn off. Your guy Mark Smith called Leer to get part numbers. Was installed 5 years ago at a Leer dealer that’s no longer there. I sent pics to him of the parts that were needed. It’s a 2009 Toyota Tacoma access cab with the long 6’ bed

This prop rod is tonneau cover model specific. Can you look at the serial number that is located on the inside roof of the product and will start with a letter followed by a series of digits. If you can tell me that number, then I will reach out to the manufacturer.
