Something like this is typically found or used in the shower or bath tub for the faucet assembly. It's made from a durable plastic construction, it's white and color, four mount holes on the unit, mounting hardware not included. Few measurements to go over with you real quick. Edge to edge, going this direction, gives a measurement of seven and three quarter inches.
Edge to edge this direction is five and three quarter inches. And the overall depth of the unit is about one and three quarter inches. The mount holes, center on center going this direction, are separated on center by four and 11/16ths. Center on center going this direction, the amount of holes are separated on center by about six and 11/16ths. Concerned that my shower backing is SO flimsy. I think we’ll need to rebuild that somehow. Do you have shower panels for bathtub shower stalls??
This part was a drop in replacement for the OEM part that failed. It's held up for the year since I replaced the original and shows no signs of degradation after multiple cleanings, etc. Good value.
As it’s deliberately made light weight for RV usage it’s probably as good as it can be. I do wish it the manufacturer had made this shower valve somewhat heavier and with a more substantial feel. This was part of replacing a shower surround that had been in service 22 years and it was quite a project! As a FYI for all you other do it yourselfers, the refrigerator had to be removed to get to the plumbing connections. A daunting task indeed.
This worked well for surface mounting the controls in our TT shower. You just need a really small elbow.

Had to relocate the tub faucet and this made it easier to do. Part appeared to be well made but we have since sold the trailer so can't tell how it stood up over time.
The product is exactly what I needed for the application that I had in mind. I haven't installed it yet, though.
This is a great item. It makes it easy to install a shower faucet without taking a lot of the wall apart. It's being used in a Mobile Home shower.

After a year of use, this part is perfect. No signs of aging, etc, the plastic remains white and no signs of warping or cracking.
