Speaker 1: Today, we're gonna take a look at the Lippert Components Kwikee large rectangular magnetic door switch kit. Now this Kwikee door switch kit by Lippert Components is for all the Kwikee electric steps products that will require a large rectangle magnetic type door switch. The switch will mount to the door frame with two screws. On the inside, it has a sensor with these two screws that you connect your lead wires to. So basically on this portion here, you'll notice the piece of metal in there. So what happens is it allows the steps to automatically extend when you open the RV door and will retract when you close your RV door.
Since it is magnetic, the door switch is designed also to secure the coach door when opened and closed. These parts are made in the USA. Just one last note is this also goes by the Kwikee part number of 905326000, but that should do it for the review on the Lippert Components Kwikee large rectangular magnetic door switch kit.

I purchased hardware to help diagnose operational problems with my Kwikee automatic steps. Two problems were identified, an intermittent ground wire and a bad magnetic door switch. I successfully repaired the step at minimal expense.

Rated 1 star only because it wasn't the right part. Service was definitely 5 star! Neither I nor etrailer knew that part wouldn't perform. Simply a complicated transaction that had to be resolved elsewhere. Would I recommend and buy from etrailer again? Absolutely!

I used this to replace the original sensor that had broken off. The magnet on this part was much smaller and was not strong enough to work initially. I had to remove the magnet from the broken part and put it in the new part for it to work. The white/brown choice is nice to have so the part can match the door and not be seen.
