Hello neighbors, I'm Steven here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at this Flush Mount Kit for your Kuat Switch. That's right, folks. This kit will let you mount your Kuat Switch ski carrier into the top channels of your roof rack crossbars. Now it does work with both the Switch 4 and the Switch 6. That's a picture of the 6 right there.
So in that picture, you can kind of see those bottom straps. Those will come off and these would replace those and give you a nice flush look on top of the vehicle. Now as I said, it works with the Switch 4 and 6. I'll put them item numbers on the page there for you. All the installation hardware is included.
You get the tool to install it as well. And all of these are a nice heavy-duty, hard plastic, and black powder-coated aluminum attachments down here. So those have been black powder coated. They're durable, corrosion resistant. But again, these guys here are just a heavy-duty, thick plastic, very well made.

This is an awesome product. However, it did not fit my application. This was not due to the etrailer shop’s parts. It was the manufacturer of the rails on my truck not being compatible. Shipping was super fast. I will rate the return process after that happens.

The rack is awesome. I love it. I tried to purchase the low profile track mounts. They did not work with the rails on my truck. E trailer was super awesome refunded my purchase of the low profile mounts and I’m just using the stock mounting on the low pro rack. I couldn’t be happier with the trailer. Thank you. Do not hesitate to buy From E trailer.
I'm really happy Kuat came out with this kit. It still doesn't lock, but it is a much cleaner look than the standard straps that come with the Switch 6. It also lowers if for better aerodynamics when in the folded down position. The install was very easy but did take a few taps with a rubber mallet to get into place because it's a very tight fit by design.
