Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the lug nut adapters for your Konig K-Summit XL tire chains.The kit does come with these little lug nut adapters at first, but if you have a larger size lug nut, a 22 mil or 21 mil, this is going to be the adapter that you need to get that tire chain in place. The kit will come with a bolt to attach into this, if this is just going to be a replacement for that lug nut that already comes with it.Let's take a little closer look at these guys. You're going to get two, so you'll have one for either side of your vehicle, and it's just going to work that same way as the original lug nuts to attach your wheels to the tire chains, or attach the tire chains really to your wheels. We'll have our threads there, as that gets threaded in, it's going to pull this little piece that kind of looks like a little octopus into the cup, and then it's going to expand out and hold close against your wheel or against that lug nut.
It's going to keep everything nice in place. Again, for some of your vehicles out there, this might be the one that you need. There's also a smaller size one for a 17 millimeter lug nut that is sold separately, but you can find that right here at etrailer.com, so if you need that size, we do have it available. It's pretty simple, just replaces that lug nut that comes with, or the adaptor to go over your lug nut that comes with it. Now you can utilize those chains on just about any vehicle.But that's going to do it for our look at the lug nut adapters for your Konig K-Summit snow tire chains.

- K-Summit Lug Nut 21/22 mm Adapter Will Not Tighten DownWhen we installed the K-summit chains here and we couldn't get the lug nut adapters like part # TH1500052581 to tighten down it usually meant that we needed to use the short 35 mm bolt or the longer spacer that came with the snow chain hardware. If you switch out one of those two or both it should allow you to tighten the adapter.
