Video Transcript for Review of the Kodiak 13" Rotor

Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Kodiak 13 inch slip-on rotor with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern and it fits 7,000 pound to 8,000 pound axles. And you can see it has a Acrodrome finish to it. Now this is a slip-on over the hub rotor so it makes it very easy to convert your idler axle to a disc brake axle. This will fit over a standard idler hub and it's held in place by the wheel and the wheel lug nuts. This one here is designed to fit hubs that use the 9/16 inch diameter wheel studs.

Now there's no need to replace your entire hub and rotor assembly if only the hub or the rotor becomes damaged. You can see it uses the vented design on it which'll effectively dissipate heat, prevents any heat-related damage, and it is a cast iron construction, ensures a nice favorable friction coefficient for necessary stopping power. And as we mentioned, this has a Dacromet plating on it to provide superior corrosion resistance for fresh water, salt water use. Does have a 300 to 400 hour salt spray rating on it. Now this is designed to fit axles that are 7,000 pound to 8,000 pounds capacity.

Does use a wheel size of 16 inches and larger. We mentioned the bolt pattern as an 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern and the diameter of the rotor is 13 inches. But that should do it for the review on the Kodiak 13 inch slip-on rotor with the 8 on 6 1/2 inch bolt pattern for 7,000 pound to 8,000 pound axles..

  • Replacement Rotor for a 2020 Keystone Montana 3121RL
If all you damaged was the rotor then you can just replace it with the Kodiak 13" Rotor item # KR1389D. I didn't get anywhere either with that serial number. However, it looks like your 2020 Keystone Montana 3121RL uses a inner bearing item # 25580 and an outer bearing item # 14125A. The Kodiak 13" Hub and Rotor item # KRH1378D you were looking at is exactly what you need to replace your gouged one if you want to swap out both the hub and rotor. For replacement brake pads you'll want...
