There's usually stainless steel core, which is durable, rust proof, ideal for marine use. This boot is what'll help keep any dirt or debris or moisture from getting to your piston and your brake caliper.It is designed to fit the Kodiak calipers that are marked Kodiak 250. This was for a saltwater boat trailer. The fit & function was perfect.
I have seven trailers for the business and buy most of my replacement parts from etrailer. Customer service is excellent and the reps know what I need even if I don't.
Knowledgeable folks at etrailer who stock or can have shipped the correct part for me. This seal is kind of a pain to replace but not that difficult. I did it in a cold warehouse at about 25 degrees.
Exact replacement for my Kodiak 250 Calipers. Seems to be even better than the original boots were.

My boat trailer bearings are still working well. I have grease & no water !
