Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Kodiak Replacement Mounting Bracket for Disc Brake Calipers. Now, this heavy duty ductile iron caliper mounting bracket is designed for use with your 13 inch rotors that have an eight on six and a half inch bolt pattern, and either a nine sixteenths of an inch, or five eights of an inch wheel bolts. This mounts on a four bolt, 8,000 pound Dexter brake flange. And again, this is going to be for calipers on disc brakes with over the hub rotors. Now, this bracket features a decrement plating that's going to give you superior corrosion resistance for fresh water or salt water use.

And it actually has a 300 to 400 hour salt spray rating. The embossed bolt holes are going to give you extra thread contact for caliper guide bolts, giving you a tight, secure connection between the brackets and caliper. The side support is going to ensure that the load is carried by the bracket and not just the bolts, and the stiffeners reduce vibration when you brake. So this is a universal design, and what that means is this is going to work with either your left hand or right hand assemblies. Well, that's gonna conclude our brief look today.
