Ellen: Hey everyone. I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're going to be taking a look at the steel sink strainer with the threaded basket. This is going to be for your RVs kitchen sink, and it's going to have that screener to keep out any kind of debris from getting our pipes all clogged up. You can thread that out. You can see the little, kind of corkscrew guy there, that's what's going to keep it in place.
You can thread that out, empty out that little basin of any food waste into the trash, and then replace it back down. If you screw this down all the way, it will close up your sink so you can fill the sink basin with water, do your dishes, and then open it back up to allow the water to flow through again, but still keeping it strained. It's going to come with the lock nut and also the rubber washer to get everything installed and the little strainer basket.I'm going to thread this out. We can take a look at some measures. This is going to fit a two inch drain.
If we take a measurement from the outer edge of our threaded portion there, it's about one and seven eighths inches, so it will fit that two inch diameter nicely. The outer diameter of the top portion of our sink is about two and five eighths inches in diameter. Our threads are going to measure just about one and three eights of an inch long. With that little nub on our straighter plug, overall, it's about roughly one and a half inches long. It is going to be made out of a nice die-cast steel, so shouldn't have to worry about it wearing out anytime soon.
A lot of RV parts are going to be made out of plastic, so the fact that this is made out of metal is definitely a nice bonus. If you need any other parts for your RV, we do have a lot of options available here at etrailer.com, so definitely check them out if you're interested. Thanks for watching and we'll see you next time.

Fit perfectly in our 2017 Jayco Hummingbird RK. Replaced the factory sink strainer because it leaked like crazy and there was no way to get a reliable seal. This new one is better quality than the original and the screw down stopper creates a great seal.
It is a great product, a significant improvement over the 18 yearold drain in our csmper that had become very corroded. The price at etrailer was good, and it was also the only place I could find it
Exactly what I needed, fit perfectly, easy install, quick shipping. Will shop etrailer again.
I used the strainer on my 2008 Roadtrek 210 for the kitchen sink worked great Thanks
