Ellen: Hey everyone! I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com. Today we're taking a look at the JR products stainless steel RV awning clips with hooks. So, this is going to be a system to get really any kind of accessory mounted up to your awning. Mostly, this is going to be for party lights and flags, so fun stuff that we can hang on our awnings. It's going to come with these little kind of alligator clips to grab either onto our awning or onto one of these little guys that will slide into the roller channels and then we can clip onto that instead. So, it gives you a pretty good hold, has little serrated teeth that get a nice bite into that material and hold pretty fast.

And the other end will be our hook so we can run our lights through there or hang our flags from there or whatever the case might be.So, we'll get 10 of each of these, we'll get 10 of the hook and clips and then 10 of these little tabs. So, you can either use them with these tabs or without it just kind of depends on your awning and you can also hook them together for some added length. So, if you want to make them hang a little bit lower, you can just clip them here and then use the other clip to attach to whatever your accessory is. You could also hook them like that if you'd prefer. Just kind of depends on what you want to do with these little guys.

So pretty useful, pretty handy, pretty universal for just about anything you'd want to use. As far as the sizing, if we go from the very end of the clip to the end of the hook, it's about two and a half inches long from kind of the inside of that hook, about the middle there to the inside of, or the inside of the clip to the inside of the hook is about two inches.So whenever we have one of these, we'll get two inches of length. Hook them together, we'll get about four and so on. The width or the inner diameter of that hook is about three quarters of an inch. Our clips measure about three eighths inches by about three quarter, opens up about three eighths of an inch, I'd say.

The opening or the throat on our hook is about a quarter of an inch there and it's about an eighth of an inch thick. As far as the tabs, they measure about an inch by about a half inch and the little rounded portion is a quarter inch or just under a quarter inch in diameter, maybe more like three sixteenths.
