Hey everyone, I'm Ellen here at etrailer.com, and we're going to be taking a quick look at the single pole, single throat, red and black switch. This is going to be just a little Rodger switch to turn your item on or off. And it's pretty nice. It gives a little visual indicator whenever it's on or off. The red is going to be on the onside, so whenever you flip it on that red part will be visible. Take a little closer look at it you can see what I mean.So we'll have just our little switch here.
Turn it on or off. See whenever you flip it to on, that red pops up. Flip it off, it's just the regular black switch. This is a single pole, single throw, as I said. So that just means that it operates one item and it turns it on or off.As far as the power ratings for this...
For AC power, it's rated at 16 amps and 125 volts or 12 amps at 250 volts. And three quarter horsepower between 125 and 250 volts AC, or 10 amps at 14 volts, DC.As far as the size. The outside measurements about one and a quarter inch long by just about three quarters of an inch wide. The cutout that this will fit into will need to be at least.. One and an eighth, it'll probably fit into.
The little tines here are what's going to apply the tension to hold it in place, whether you're using a face plate or putting it into an actual cutout in straight into a wall or another accessory. So there's some give some wiggle room in between that, but about one and an eighth inch is about as small as this goes. So you'll want to make sure that your opening is at least that big. One an eighth there. Width wise, it's just a little over half an inch, so about five eighths of an inch.
From front to back, that switch measures about three eights of an inch from the surface to where the switch comes out. Overall, it's about one and a quarter. It is made in the USA and that's about all there is to it for our look at the single labeled rocker switch. I hope this video has been helpful in deciding if this is the right one for you. If not, we do have a lot of other options available here at etrailer.com, so check them out. Thanks for watching..
