Video Transcript for Detailed Breakdown of the Single Bezel RV Switch Faceplate

Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the Beveled RV Switch Faceplate. This is going to replace the faceplate on your switch in your RV, so whether that's a light switch or some other sort of power switch, garbage disposal, anything like that. As long as it fits in that space, this is going to be a great option for you. It is bezeled, so it's going to have about seven-sixteenths of an inch of clearance from your wall.

That's going to help if you have thinner walls, like most RVs do. It's going to help you fit more in behind your faceplate here.This is going to have an overall dimension of about three and a quarter of an inch wide. Its height is going to be right about three and three quarters of an inch. You want to make sure that that's going to work for your application. As far as the light switch cut out itself, it's right about nine-sixteenths of an inch wide or just over half an inch.

And its height is right there about one and one-eighth or just over one inch. So make sure that this is going to work for you. That is pretty much. It's a very common size for your light switches.I do want to show you that this is actually two pieces here. We'll pop this off.

This is the piece that you will mount over your light switch bracket. It'll screw in at the top and bottom there and then this faceplate will just go over top of that. You can see it's got the little tabs on the back side here. Those will go into those square holes on the bracket. Once we have that mounted in place, we can simply just put that over top of it.

It's going to cover up the screws and give it a nice clean, finished look.This is obviously the white color. You want to make sure that that's going to work with your color scheme in your RV, match all your aesthetics. And it is made here in the USA. Overall, I think this is going to be a great option for you if you're wanting to add a new faceplate onto your light switch. I think it's going to do a good job. It is a plastic construction. I think that's going to be fine when you have it mounted in place. I think most of your faceplates are plastic these days, so you're not going to have to worry about anything there.But really, that's all there is to our Beveled Single Switch Faceplate.
