Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a brief look at this on and on RV switch. Now, this is an SPDT switch and it is capable of 16 amps at 125 to 250 volts of alternating current, and then 3/4 horsepower at 125 to 250 volts of alternating current. And then 10 amps at 14 volts of direct current and three amps at 125 volts. This is UL as well as CSA and VDE approved. And let me retrieve my ruler here and try to give you a good idea of the size of the switch.
So, lining this up, looking at the overall height, as you can see, we're sitting pretty close to 1 1/4 inches tall. And then looking at the width. Again, pretty close to 3/4 of an inch on the width. And when you're installing this, you are going to need a cutout that is about 11/16 of an inch tall, and then about 1/2 of an inch wide so that you can get this mounted in place. And as you can see, this is a black switch, so this is going to go real well with your black interior colors.

Worked as advertised. Fixing used rv, and the 3 way switch for hallway was incorrectly wired with 2 hots and a lighted switch. Took away 1 hot, replaced lighted switch with new switch. Fixed several electrical issues, and hallway light works great.
Shipping was really fast and etrailer made it easy to find this (rare?) 3-way type of switch! Great service as usual!!
My new-to-me snowmobile trailer had some ill-installed light switches with a very small and unfriendly form factor, especially when wearing gloves, as you would when sledding. The original switches were looking old, beat up, and generally ugly. These new switches were easy to install and use, giving the trailer a more modern look.
