Michael: Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the mini 12 volt on/off switch. This is going to allow you to control lights, or other applications, from your 12 volt battery. You can see we've got two plugs here on the backside. One is going to be the line coming from your battery and the other is the line going out to your lights, or whatever else you're trying to control.
This is a very small on/off switch. If we hold it up to a ruler here, you can see it's really only about just over a quarter of an inch. Call it five eighths wide by just over three quarters, or about seven eighths of an inch tall. If you are going to be cutting out a hole for this, you want your cutout to be just slightly smaller. So, it'll be about three quarters of an inch tall, and then half of an inch wide, just to make sure that it's going to have a nice snug fit.You can see on the top and bottom, there's these little compression fittings here that will allow it to...
Once you push it in place, that will keep it nice and snug on your dash, or wherever it is that you're mounting this. And this is obviously a black switch. So, if you have a black surrounding, should look very good, blend in nice. We've got a nice plastic finish to it, so should do a good job of allowing you to control that on/off functionality. This is made here in the USA.
So, you can trust that it is made to the high quality standards that we've come to know and trust for products that are made here in the US. Rocker switch arrived timely and packaged well. It popped right into a blank spot on the control panel and used it to power an outside light for use at night.
switch fits and works fine, would be helpful to cross reference by physical size, took me a long time to find it
