Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Single On/Off Rocker Switch. This is going to control your lights or other applications powered by your battery. This is a Single Pole Single Throw switch. So you can have your power coming into that center tab there and then going out on the bottom tab. This is capable of 16 amps at 125 volts, 12 amps at 250 volts of alternating current, three quarters horsepower at 125 volts to 250 volts alternating current, and 10 amps at 14 volts of direct current.

Our dimensions. This is right at one and one quarter of an inch tall by 11 sixteenths of an inch wide. Just shy of three quarters of an inch wide. Our cutout is gonna be a little bit smaller than that. So it's gonna be one and one eighth of an inch tall and one half of an inch wide.

You can see it does have these little plastic prongs there that are going to allow this to slide into our housing and then it's going to prevent it from being pulled out without some effort. So it will stay in the housing, be nice and secure for us. You can see this is a brown switch. It's got that gold labeling on there. So you can see if the switch is turned to the on or off position.

This does meet the UL, CSA, VDE, and ROHS standards. So you can trust it's made to those high quality standards and been tested to work and hold up well, so you can trust it's gonna do a great job for you for a long time to come.
