Presenter Hi there, propane users. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at replacement propane tank hold down bars. This one here is specifically designed to work with 20 and 30 pound tanks and is a direct replacement for the full system that you can buy here at etrailer that's exclusive from JR Products. The hold down bar can sometimes get lost when you're replacing your tanks, you can misplace it and drive off, and then it's no longer there. And you need one to ensure that you have your tanks properly secured. Replacement ones are available here at etrailer.
This hold down bar for your propane tank is about a foot in length and is designed to work with 20 and 30 pound tanks. The distance between our hold-down notches here is you're gonna have three different kind of distance settings. The current one we have here, we're using the middle notch with, but just depending on your trailer and the base where your tanks sit, they may seat slightly closer or further apart. The distance between the outer set of holes is going to be 10 3/4 of an inch. So you can check your tanks to see if this is gonna work.
The middle slot is gonna be 9 1/4 inch, so it's about an inch and a half difference. And then another inch and a half closer together for our third and closest distance, which is going to be 7 3/4 of an inch. There's a hole in the center of our bar for our threaded rod to pass through. And you'll secure your tanks using a wing nut, pushing down on our hold down bar. You can get replacement threaded rods, as well as wing nuts, here at etrailer, in case you happen to have been loaded in a trailer, had an accident, or maybe it's just been in storage for a really long time and corrosion has taken its toll.

For whatever reason a previous owner removed the propane tank hardware from the front of the camper I have. E-trailer had all the pieces I needed to put everything back together, and it was a good price.
