Hi, everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're taking a look at these InfiniteRule locking pins for the Shocker Hitch ball mount for the two-inch or the 2 1/2-inch hitches. Now, with these heavy-duty, rust-resistant, stainless steel hitch locks, you are going to be able to secure your investment in your Shocker Hitch. They are going to provide superior security, as they replace the standard pins for your two-inch or your 2 1/2-inch Shocker Hitch Air 12K, HD Air 16K, the XRC, or the XR ball mount. The flush design helps deter theft. And this hitch lock, or the shorter pin that I have here in my hands, this is going to secure the ball mount to your two-inch or your 2 1/2-inch trailer hitch. These longer pins are going to secure the ball platform to the ball mount itself.
Now, I'm going to give you a brief demonstration of how these work. But before I do, just some overall features here. They do have this weather-resistant, tethered dust cap that's going to keep water and debris out of the keyways. The lock cores are keyed alike, and three keys are included. And the safe working load limit on these pins are going to be 21,000 pounds.
And just to give you some overall dimensions of these pins, without the tap, the overall length of the short pin is sitting right at 5 3/4 inches long. And then measuring that inside pin length or the span measuring from there to there, we are sitting right at 3 1/8 inches. Now, looking at the longer pin, again, without the cap, the overall length, we're sitting right at 7 1/4 inches. And then the inside pin length or that span from here to here, that is sitting right at 4 5/8 inches long. And then the pin diameters on these pins are 5/8 of an inch.
Now, just to show you how these install, let me go ahead and begin with the short pin or the hitch lock pin. And I am going to just remove that cap and insert one of the included keys, and you will just turn this key like you are loosening a bolt. And you just keep turning until that head comes off. And then you will just put that in to the pinhole of this shank. And then let me turn this around.
And by the way, let me show you this while I'm here. Each of these pins do have an O-ring to protect the internal components from dirt and grime. So that's another nice added feature of these pin locks. I'm gonna put the head back on, and then I am just going to keep turning the key like I'm tightening a bolt. And then once it is tight, you're just gonna back off a little bit until you line up your key with one of these notches that are around the ring. And then you can just pull that out, and this is going to be nice and secure to your hitch. And as you can see, that's what it looks like there. Now, let me go ahead and show you how this works on securing your ball platform. I'm going to remove a clip here, set that off to the side, get my keys, and I'm gonna go ahead and get this ready to use by removing the head. So stick the key in. And again, like I'm loosening a bolt, I'm just gonna keep turning the key till that head comes off. And then I am going to remove the original pin, and then I'm going to put in my locking pin. And then put on the head, and then just turn that tee until it is tight. And then just back off a little bit to that, those notches there. The key will come right out. That is locked in, and then do the same for this as well. And just go ahead, loosen this. And line that up. Put it in. Replace the head, and then, again, tighten the key. And that's gonna be tightening the head. The key is tight. Back off to a set of the notches there. Remove the key. And now your investment is secure. And very easy to install, and now you have the confidence of knowing that this is going to be secured to your vehicle. Now, this is what I have here for my demonstration of the Shocker HD Air receiver hitch with the combination ball mount. This is a two-inch shank. You can find this on our website, item number SHK95VR. And this is going to be a 16K hitch. Well, that's gonna conclude our look today at these pin locks. I hope it was helpful. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me..

Heavy-duty, stainless steel hitch locks provide superior security for your Shocker Hitch Air (12K), HD Air (16K), XRC, or XR ball mount. Flush design helps to deter theft. Keyed alike. They fit the shocker xr hitch. They seem like they are strong and secure and will prevent theft. I took one star off because on one of the locks the o-ring to keep out dust dirt, etc was torn. I believe these are wear and tear items but this was a brand new lock.
